Constructed of aluminum, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, surrounding a central raised and bronzed Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, situated over a pebbled background, the reverse with two clips, one of which retains a loop, maker marked with the logo of F. W. Assmann & Shne, Ldenscheid, measuring 58 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in extremely fine
