Overview

The Best of Western Uganda exploring the tourist city Fort Portal named after the first Guvnor of Uganda. The hot springs of Semuliki, Amabeere and the Palace. We shall cover queen Elizabeth national park famously known for the big 5, Kazinga channel and the climbing tree lions. You can not mention western Uganda without talking or visiting the Gorilla families in Bwindi impenetrable forest and we shall end our tour at Lake Mburo.

Itinerary

Our Guide will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to the guest house, overnight at the lodge in Entebbe.
In the morning 07:30 - 08:00 breakfast at the lodge
08:30. we embark on the long awaited journey to explore the best of western Uganda.

Depart Entebbe at 08:30 am arrive in Fort portal in the afternoon, have lunch at gardens restaurant for 0ne hour.
1. Visit the Amabeere Ganyinamwiru in Nyakasura and short visit to semuliki hot springs.
2 close fort tour with the palace visit which is located in town, we shall depart fort portal town to kibale forest where you will spend the night at the chimpanzee forest guest house.

Departure from Kibale Forests to Queen Elizabeth National Park where we shall have spend the next 2 days. We shall visit the kazinga channel, boat ride and game drives. Overnight at the bush lodge
An early morning game drive and transfer to Ishasha sector of the National Park for the Tree climbing lions, spend a night ishasha jungle Lodge.

Morning game drive through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park in hopes of seeing the tree climbing lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Birds and many others. You will have lunch at the lodge, rest and prepare for the sun downer in the evening. Overnight at ishasha jungle lodge.

After breakfast your guide will drive you southwards to Bwindi Impenetrable forest a home to the mountain gorillas, Bwindi has half the number of gorillas left in the world with over 16 habituated families, very friendly animals. Overnight at Buhoma community rest camp.

After an energising breakfast you will have a once in a life time experience of gorilla tracking, venture into the impenetrable forest. The trek can take anywhere from half and hour to 7 hours.
Later in the evening do the Batwa community visits.

Day 6 :
Bwindi

After your Breakfast your guide will drive you towards Lake Mburo, It is the perfect destination to relax, boat ride at the lake, see wild life which often approach the lodge premises. The birds making sound, its lifetime experience in the park. Overnight at hyena hill lodge.
Depart Mburo at midday for Entebbe.

End of the journeys, Our guide will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight.
