Itinerary

Day 1 :
Kigali

Arrival at Kigali International Airport. You will be Met and assisted by our representative. Your guide will then transfer you to the hotel for Dinner and overnight stay at Five to Five Hotel (BB).

Have breakfast, and You will visit landmarks like the Genocide Memorial Center, local markets, art galleries, and cultural sites to learn about Rwanda's history and culture. Thereafter transfer to Ruhengeri, visit Iby'Iwacu cultural village. You may take part in some community-based activities and learn to produce banana and sorghum beer, make your own beautiful handicrafts out of banana leaves experience traditional dancing, drumming and singing among others. Dinner and overnight at the Davinci Gorilla Lodge. Meal plan: FB

Have early morning breakfast, and after transfer to the Park Headquarters of Parc National des
Volcano. Meet your ranger guides for briefing on how to behave while in the forest searching for
the Gorillas and also will let you know more about their behaviors and ways of life before you
set off. After the briefing you will enter into the forest and search for these endangered rare
mountain Gorilla species. This is a once a life adventure and an opportunity one should never
miss in life. The activity will take half or full day, therefore you are advised to go with your
packed lunch and bottled mineral water, walkable shoes, hut, sun screen, insect repellent,
Cameras, rain gears among others you think are vital while in tropical rain forest. After your
hour spent with the mountain gorillas, return to lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight. Meal
plan: Full-Board

With an early morning Breakfast, you will embark on a journey to Burundi, Bujumbura where you will be spending the next 3 days. Your lunch will be enroute. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel du Lac Tanganyika

On this day, you will explore Bujumbura: Spend a day exploring the capital city of Burundi, Bujumbura. Visit notable attractions such as the Independence Square, the Bujumbura Central Market, and the Livingstone-Stanley Monument. Take a leisurely stroll along the shores of Lake Tanganyika, enjoy a traditional meal at a local restaurant, and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of the city. You will then return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Club du Lac Tanganyika.

Spend a day hiking through the lush forests of Kibira National Park. While here, you will trek the Chimpanzees. This park is home to a variety of wildlife species, such as chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, and various bird species. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings, listen to the sounds of nature, and maybe spot some of the incredible wildlife. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge Hotel Club du Lac Tanganyika.

Day 7 :
Departure

On this day, you will have breakfast at leisure and then your guide will transfer you to Melchior Ndadaye International Airport in time to check in for your departure flight back home.
