This trip will cover Murchison falls national park the largest in Uganda, Queen Elizabeth nationap park, chimpanzee of kibale forest national park, the gorillas of Bwindi impenetrable forest and close in Lake mburo national park

Have breakfast, and the driver guide will take you to Murchison Falls National Park in North western Uganda. You will have lunch enroute and then continue to the top of the falls. You will then head to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. If time allows, you may go for an evening game drive.

Pakuba Safari Lodge is nestled on the Eastern Bank of the Albert Nile in Murchison Falls National Park overlooking the spectacular River Nile. The lodge location affords panoramic views of the mighty River Nile, sweeping vistas of the surrounding riverine forest below and captivating surrounding wilderness where travelers get the chance to sight Giraffes, Elephants, Antelopes and occasionally Leopards that pay regular visits to the lodge. Our tastefully furnished rooms offer comfort, style and serenity.

You will have breakfast and then go for a morning game drive. Lunch will be at the lodge of stay and in the afternoon get on a boat ride to the bottom of the falls. You might also spot crocodiles, Hippos, elephants and many others. If interested, you can hike to the top of the falls. Various birds might be spotted too, like the hornbills, bee-eaters, kingfishers and storks, Egyptian plover, Chestnut crowned sparrow weaver, Rock pranticole, Red winged grey warbler, Pulvus illadopsis among others. Dinner and overnight at the lodge as above.

After breakfast, you will start the drive to Kibale National Park. In the Southern part of Uganda. It is a home to approximately 325 species of birds which include the olive long-tailed cuckoo, Western Green tinker bird, African and Green-breasted and African Grey Parrot, 13 species of primates and at least 60 other species of mammals. The visits to the park are mainly paid to the endangered chimpanzees. On arrival at the lodge, you will have lunch and later in the afternoon you can relax or do a community walk.

It is a Semi Luxe lodge is located in Kibale Forest region close to Nkingo and Bigodi Villages. It’s main building includes the restaurant, a cozy fire place, a bar and an outside terrace. There’s also a swimming pool where on can relax after the day’s activity. the first floor has wonderful views of the Kibale forest and the snowcapped Rwenzori mountains. You will enjoy the feel of nature while at Turaco tree tops Lodge.

Today you will go for Chimpanzee tracking. This will be after you have had breakfast and after getting a briefing at the park headquarters. While tracking chimps you might spot other animals like the red and blue duikers, bush pigs, warthogs, buffalo and elephants. Various birds can also be spotted while on the trek. Return to the lodge for lunch. Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge as above.

Today after breakfast you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This park was named after Queen Elizabeth II and it was established in 1954, located in western Uganda and covers an area of about 1,978 square kilometres. Within this park there is Lake Edward and Lake George and the Kazinga channel. The vegetation in the park is mostly open savannah, green meadows, semi- deciduous tropical forests, dense equatorial rain forest and dense papyrus swamps. On arrival you will have lunch, and either relax at the lodge or go for an afternoon game drive. You might spot animals like elephants, Bufalloes, Impalas, Uganda Kobs and lions. Various birds can be spotted too and they include the African skimmer, Chapins flycatcher, Pink-backed pelicans, Papyrus canary, Shoebill stork, martial eagle.

Marafiki Safari Lodge

This lodge is a testament of craftmanship because of its handcrafted grass thatched roofs, this shows the connection between nature, tourism and human kind. Its location overlooks lake George of Queen Elizabeth national park in western Uganda.

After breakfast you will go for a game drive. You might spot animals like elephants, Bufalloes, Impalas, Uganda Kobs and lions. Various birds can be spotted too and they include the African skimmer, Chapins flycatcher, Pink-backed pelicans, Papyrus canary, Shoebill stork, martial eagle. Later return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch you will go for a boat ride where you may spot Hippos, Crocodiles, various water birds. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

On this day, you will go for a game drive through Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth specifically to watch the tree climbing lions but while on this search, other animals may spot too. You will continue the drive to Bwindi national park. This National Park is located in the south-western part of Uganda next to the Virunga National Park and on the edge of the Albertine Rift. Bwindi national park is a home to various animal and bird species. This includes over 214 species of birds and 120 species of mammals. Bwindi national park. It’s well known for its endangered mountain Gorillas. Apart from the gorillas there are other animals like the ‘Hoest’s monkey, African elephant, African green broadbill, Grauer’s rush warbler, Chaplin’s flycatcher, African giant swallowtail among others. Lunch will be enroute.

Haven Lodge

The Haven Lodge a community owned facility therefore all the profits made, are given back to the community. The facility has 8 fully furnished and well-designed cottages and 1 family cottage. The rooms overlook the impenetrable Forest giving every client a magical feel of nature. Sometimes, the gorillas move close to the Lodge and clients may have a chance to view the gorillas again. The Haven is a midrange Lodge offering very good services.

An early morning breakfast, go for a briefing at the park headquarters. The guides and rangers will accompany you into the forest to begin the Gorilla tracking activity which takes 2-10 hours depending on the movements of these gorillas. Other animals and birds might be spotted too and these include the l’Hoest’s monkey, African elephant, birds like the African green broadbill, Grauer’s rush warbler, Chaplin’s flycatcher, African giant swallowtail among others. After tracking, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Today you will visit Lake Mburo National Park. It is in the western part of Uganda. Have lunch on arrival and later go for a boat ride, get to see hippos and crocodiles and various water birds like the rare shoebill stock, Pelicans, Black crake, Heron, cormorant, fish eagle and many others. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Rwakobo Rock

Rwakobo is nestled on a scenic outcrop with breathtaking views. Animals such as zebra, warthog, impala and bushbuck abound around the lodge and often congregate at the water hole beneath the dining area. At night the sounds of bush come to life and allow your imagination to run wild. Rwakobo offers private thatched cottages, with solar lighting, flush toilets and solar heated showers, which blend into the natural landscape.  The cottages are dotted around the hill taking advantage of rocky ledges and secluded corners. The cottages celebrate the natural lines of the surrounding wilderness. They also provide guests with real comfort and luxury that doesn’t cost the earth.

Have breakfast and later go for a morning game drive. While on the game drive, you will spot animals like Zebras, Impala, Buffaloes, Buffalo, Topi, and Eland among others. In the afternoon you will continue with the drive back to Kampala, briefly stopping at the equator for photography.

Drop off will be at your residence in Kampala or at the airport.
